Engineered as the primary means of internal well control at working depth, dual flapper check valves prevent wellbore fluid from reversing flow into the BHA. Dual cartridges provide redundancy for added assurance that fluid flow stays in one direction. Built for milling and jarring operations where seal integrity must be maintained over harsh operating conditions.

Engineered to withstand the impact from anti-friction tools and high-torque motors, the HDD releases via ball activation only so the internal mechanism cannot deploy prematurely. Customizable shear values permit operation specific release pressure, while the clean downhole profile post-disconnect provides multiple fishing options. Built for reliability when encountering uncertainty.
Engineered to withstand the impact from anti-friction tools and high-torque motors, each configuration releases via ball activation when differential pressure shears the internal mechanism. Customizable shear values allow precise release pressure, while the clean downhole profile after disconnect provides multiple fishing options. Built for operations where getting stuck means you need a reliable way out.

*Fishing neck is not tensile loaded when assembled, minimal yield point and load to yield numbers are used as a guide line when fishing bottom sub with pulling tool.
*Can be pinned with up to 6 shear screws.
The Dual Activated Circulating Sub has two important functions:
Allow pressure relief by applying internal pressure on a rupture disc (burst disc) and overcoming the rupture disc’s burst value, which is pre-determined prior to running the tools in hole. This may be necessary if the flow path is restricted to the tools below, to create a secondary flow path so as to deploy a drop-ball.
The second capability of the Circulating Sub is a ball-activated option in which a drop-ball can be deployed via fluid to a piston seat within the Circulating sub to shear a piston, opening up (3) large ports to the annulus allowing pump rates to exceed motor flow rates as well as isolating the flow path to all the tools below the Circulating Sub in the Bottom Hole Assembly.
Engineered with dual activation modes, each configuration opens either via burst disc pressure relief or ball-activated shear piston. Three large ports to annulus allow pump rates to exceed motor flow rates while isolating tools below. Built for operations requiring pressure relief options or the ability to bypass sensitive BHA components during acid or nitrogen exposure.

TEC’s milling circulation sub is designed to be run in conjunction with a mud motor and extended reach tool. Standard dual activated circulating subs can open unintended via the reciprocating motion of the extended reach tool, rendering the BHA inoperable. TEC’s design features an internal mechanism for pressure balance to ensure the piston is in the closed position and a premature shear event is not possible. Opens only when intended.
Engineered with internal pressure balance to prevent premature opening during extended reach tool reciprocation, each configuration only activates when intended via ball deployment. The closed-position mechanism eliminates unintended shear events that render standard circulating subs inoperable. Purpose-built for mud motor and extended reach applications where false activation isn’t an option.

TEC’s Heavy Duty Motor Head Assembly is an integrated set of tool string components which incorporates a variety of features including a dual-flapper check valve assembly, a ball-activated disconnect and a dual-activated circulating sub in one compact unit. The tool also features torque-thru capability as well as a standard internal GS fish neck profile.
The dual flapper check valves prevent backflow from the well bore into the tubing above. The disconnect component provides a means of releasing the work string from the stuck BHA by deployment of a drop-ball, and the circulating sub introduces a flow path to the annulus, bypassing the BHA components below. This is useful for isolating motors and other sensitive equipment from acid or nitrogen exposure, as well as allowing increased flow rates for specialized applications. In addition, if for any reason circulation through the tool string is lost, an overpressure-activated piston is also incorporated. This is the most comprehensive instrument for small diameter re-entry applications available.
Engineered as an integrated unit combining check valve, ball-activated disconnect, and dual-activated circulating sub in one compact assembly. Torque-thru capability and internal GS fish neck profile provide maximum functionality for small diameter re-entry applications. Built for operations where space is limited but comprehensive well control, disconnect capability, and circulation options can’t be compromised.
